Probability Tutorial Thursday 2:30pm

In the math help center.  We will migrate if there isn’t enough room, or we are too disruptive. We will be going over what a random variable is, how to find their expectation and how to calculate the probability that one random variable is less than another, and a few other odds and ends you will need for this course.

    Hi Daniel

    Would it be possible for you to book a room for this tutorial, since the math help center is normally very crowded?

    Good point. I will try and book a room tomorrow morning, if that doesn’t work, we’ll just have to “book” a room by force when the time comes. That room right beside the help centre is often free. I’ll post the location here and leave a sign up in the help centre saying where we are.

    Room 202 is booked for us at 2:30. It’s hiding right behind the math help centre.

    We could arrange one for Tuesday if I get more than two people emailing me requesting one. So Send me good times to meet on Tuesday if you want another probability tutorial.

    will there be another tutorial tomorrow? if so where will it be held?
